Review: Mended

Mended
Mended by Kim Karr
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

If you don’t already know this series is all about 2nd chance romances, so this book is no exception.
Xander and Ivy dated in high school they were in love and planning on being together for life. Then life took a turn and Xander decided to let Ivy go, so that she could have a brighter future away from her mother.

Knowing that she wouldn’t have agreed to end things, he let her believe a lie.

Now 12 years later they are back in each others lives and both still feel the same connection. Things are not easy for these two, one because Ivy doesn’t trust him and two Ivy is in a relationship with a man that Xander doesn’t trust. Once a barrier is knocked down another one is erected.

Still, it is a beautiful thing to see two people who clearly still care for each other find their way back to one another.
