Review: What Doesn’t Destroy Us

What Doesn't Destroy Us
What Doesn’t Destroy Us by M.N. Forgy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

3.5 Rating ~ Rated up to 4.0

I had my moments with this book. I found Dani at times annoying, but also I saw a young woman coming into her own. I both like and disliked her in turns. On the other hand, I loved Shadaw. I don’t know why I am being more forgiving with his faults than I am with hers, but there it is.

The book itself was a bit repetitive. I didn’t need to know that Shadow was hot every single time Dani laid eyes on him. I get it. At the same time I was thinking, it is like she is seeing him for the first time or she hasn’t got used to his beauty, so I thought it was sweet.

This story mad me a bit crazy. Sorry if I am offending someone who is actually crazy. I was a bit all over the place emotionally. I laughed, which is always a good thing for me in a romance, I was annoyed, I was a bit aroused, I was pissed. From one chapter to the next I was either on a high or very low.

Still, I very much want to know what is going to happen in the next book in this series.
