Review: Deviant

Deviant
Deviant by Callie Hart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I would have given this a 5 if it wasn’t for the the typos. Dark romance are usually hard for me. They touch something in me that makes me a little uncomfortable while I am reading them but the eroticism of them turns me on at the same time. Sloane was desperate to find her sister and would do anything to get any information that she can, even sell something of herself for that info. Things of course don’t turn out as expected. Callie Hart does a good job of making us, the readers, feel just how desperate Sloane is, so it makes it easier for us to understand her motivation and put ourselves in her shoes so that there is no judgement because we know we would do the same thing in her place.
Zeth is a bad boy to the max, and although I usually loathe the “heroes” in these books at first, that doesn’t fly with him. I like him from the start. He is demanding, but not forceful. Definitely alpha to the core. I can’t wait to get to the rest of the books in the series.
