Two of a Kind (Fool’s Gold #11) by Susan Mallery

Image  This is only my second book in this series, the first being Just One Kiss(Book #10), and I definitely like this one more than the first.

I think that my first time in Fool’s Gold was a little tainted because there were a lot of question, seeming as though this was an established series. Had I read just one book before that I would have had a better understanding of what the town of Fool’s Gold was all about.

Now having a little perspective this time I was much better able to appreciate the cast of characters that occupy this town.

I have to say that out of the two this is my fav and that is mainly to do with Felicia. She is so different from so many other heroines that I have read that I had already fallen in love with her in the previous book.

It is usually the other way around, the hero usually catches my fancy before the heroine, but Felicia just has this endearing and refreshing quality about her.

Now don’t get me wrong, I loved me some Gideon. He was upfront with her about what to expect from right from the beginning and I found that refreshing also.

Their relationship was one of the most open and honest that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. We should all strive to communicate with one another a little bit more like Felicia and Gideon does. No game playing here.

  1. Once again I am in love with Fools Gold. Susan has an awesome gift! With each story she builds the community while keeping the story unique. I love Gideon and Felicia. If I’m completely honest mostly Felicia, she is so painfully honest I adore her. My favorite to date.

  2. Loved Two Of A Kind. This is the story of Felicia and Gideon. Lots of twists and turns in this book. A fun summer read with humor and romance. Lovfe Fool’s Gold books.

  3. Great Review! Loved Felicia too!! Susan Mallery wrote the best dialogue for her, she was fearless, hilarious and outrageous!

  4. I love this series and just when I think I’ve read the best another one comes out and it’s even better. If anybody needs a $1 coupon off a paperback For Three Little Words, just released today, let me know.
